Seaglass Cottage - Redcar

Seaglass Cottage is in a superb location for us visiting our Redcar family, beautifully decorated,excellent electrical kitchen equipment and whole house very tastefully furnished with pretty seaside fixtures and quality furniture,both inside and out....plenty of games,toys and outdoor accessories for us and the children to enjoy garden/beach play. Absolutely lovely place to stay,and Redcar East Station is just 5 mins across the road.

1) I thought the additional £90 cleaning charge was really excessive considering the windows, frames and exterior paintwork hadn't been cleaned in a while, so maybe the charge only covers the inside cleaning(which was faultless btw) between each booking? Also,leaving the property in a clean and tidy condition,clearing our rubbish etc, to aid the cleaner,,as we certainly did, should merit a discount or credit. Only niggley bits are: 2) No washing line in the back yard...clothes horse was broken so could only use stretched across two garden chairs. 3)Not enough saucepans/ oven trays for a large family meal.

Everything except ide suggest having a few more options for adults who enjoy art or anything to do with crafting or art as not only kids like that stuff

There was no shelter of any kind were I could smoke outside out of the weather

Felt like a home instead of accommodation for the night. Lovely area

Very clean, very well presented house. Warm and cosy with everything you would need. Even some games to play in the evening. Clearly be renovated recently and to a great standard. Parking for two cars as well was a bonus.

The property was as described in the advert, beautifully presented and very clean. Although we were only there for one night it was everything I expected and I would highly recommend.
