The apartment isn’t located at the ski slope. You have to drive a car to the lift down the road or try to use gravel mountain road walking for over 10 minutes to reach the ski slope - what is impossible walking with ski boots if you don’t want to damage them. In the description there is no information about that, so I don’t recommend it for skiers and snowboarders looking for place with ski in&out. In the nearest surrounding area there aren’t any pavements or walking paths for pedestrians, only car roads so that isn’t a good location for families. The contact with the owner was good until any problems or disinformations with description occurred - then the man said ‘it is business for us’ and hasn’t answered anymore.
GBWe loved our time at Abete Rosso, it’s such a cosy, modern apartment, with just the right amount of rustic details. It’s very clean and fully equipped with all the comfort a family needs, including a working WiFi (very important detail, according to my kids). It has a big balcony with a lovely view where you can sit and enjoy the tranquility. The host is very kind and attentive and the communication was excellent. The position is perfect, 2 mins drive from Temù slopes or 6 mins drive to Ponte di Legno slopes (where you also get the Cable car to Passo del Tonale). It’s also worth mentioning the restaurant down the road, Ristorante Traviolo, (literally 4 mins walk) highly recommended.
