Villa Maxim in Corfu Town

Our stay was wonderful. We were celebrating a special occasion, and the host kindly left us champagne and chocolates as a gift. We also really appreciated the little snack box filled with local treats. The bed was extremely comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings, watching over the garden. We would definitely come back again and recommend this property! As a side bonus, it is easy to walk to the airport, so no need to pay for a taxi!

Nothing. Everything was above and beyond our expectations.

We two sisters in our 60’s wanted a low cost, clean, comfortable space in the Garitsa Bay area close to airport for early morning departure after 2 nights showing my sister around on foot. Our studio room was perfect. Location spot on having a very short distance to the beautiful seaside esplanade & park walk glorious stroll up to the Fort, Liston and Old Town and down to the windmill, old jetty area plus Mon Repos. Also easy walk through shady old prison park to explore the British Cemetery. As it was very hot it was the right choice not to stay right in the old town hustle and bustle plus we found a few places to swim. Lots of taverna choices with seating in the shady park by the bay and pricier sea side restaurants down near windmill. Even closer (2-3 minutes) to the studio was a coffee shop, fruit shop, kiosk and I think a small market store (we did not go in to the latter) The room was very clean and simply furnished yet had all we required (no clutter) at rear of building away from street. The balcony with gorgeous garden and beyond view was a treat - very green and pretty. We both slept soundly in the comfortable bed. The reason our score is a full ten is because our host was such a generous, lovely young lady. My sister had an issue with her medicine and Margarita found a practical solution and came over a few times plus stayed in touch to ensure the situation was promptly solved - she was very kind and considerate and also helped arrange taxis etc. I travel to Paxos via Corfu every year so when needing to stay a night or two the studio will be a happy, convenient choice made better by knowing lovey Margarita and her friendly cleaning lady are not far away.

Perfect place to stay in Corfu. Close to the Old Town, beach, airport, grocery stores and restaurants. The hosts were always nice and helpful

Location really close to the airport

The villa is absolutely beautiful - with 4 double bedrooms and three bathrooms - all of which were spotlessly clean. We especially liked the first floor living room (in addition to the living room downstairs). The kitchen facilities were very good with all the cutlery and crockery you needed. The garden and outdoor seating was lovely too. The location was convenient - walking distance to local shops, a bakery and restaurants as well as the airport and also the main town centre. Our host was also very accommodating and kind - allowing us to arrive earlier and to leave our bags. She very kindly left us a lovely breakfast.

There was nothing we did not like - our only regret is that we wish we had stayed longer.
