Poxwell Manor West Wing - Exclusive Dorset Retreat

This was such a lovely place to stay for our trip. They have done a brilliant job renovating the house, the decor is charming but it’s also very functional. The kitchen is well equipped, we cooked a full dinner every night we stayed here and had everything we needed. The bedrooms are so spacious and we appreciated having the 2 bathrooms plus an extra toilet! Sarah was attentive with any issues/requests we had, anything we asked for was sorted immediately. The bed warmers and piano were a lovely touch! Thank you for such a lovely stay in your beautiful home.

We firstly wanted to say a huge thank you to Ken and Sarah for allowing us to stay in the west wing of there beautiful Manor House & that we are so looking forward to returning to stay in the stable cottage . They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable even in rushing out on the Saturday to find barbecue gas so that we could have a family barbecue in the garden area . The West wing itself has three beautiful , bright airy bedrooms ad two lovely bathrooms on the first floor and a WC on the ground floor, the lounge is not massive but was certainly suitable for our party of 6+1 . This also applies to the kitchen which has all the amenities that you could want from a holiday rental. . It was extremely clean with fresh bedding & towels , basically everything you could want when Staying at such a beautiful home. Then we go onto the grounds which are absolutely stunning and you can spend hours just browsing around taking in the splendour of what Poxwell Manor has to offer. The location is also great, I.e under 15 minutes to Dorchester or Weymouth.

Nothing not to like

This place was perfect for us. The children loved the pets, there was plenty to do in the local area and the place was very comfortable for us. The garden was an added bonus.

There was nothing that we didn’t like - perhaps only booking four instead of five nights :)

the bedrooms and bathrooms were very large and spacious.

The lounge and kitchen was very small and there was no outlook as the window in the lounge was high up, and there was quite a few steps in the kitchen, and down to the front door, and you had to walk to find your dedicated part of garden.
