Delightful 3-bedroom static caravan with lazy spa and loch view

Lovely location, safe and quiet place for the kids to play around freely. Site has a free indoor swimming pool, pub/restaurant and you can buy a daily ticket/pass for fishing. Good size shower and had hoover, iron.

We did come from quite far away (7,5 hrs drive), so it was not easy to calculate the journey time. We did arrive at 13:00, and had an impression thar caravan was ready, but lady called and politely asked to leave and wait until 4pm - their usual check in time.Ofcourse, it’s our mistake so we did apologise and waited outside. Cleaner left at around 15:30, which was fine, it’s just kids ( aged 4,11 and 12) were left without an access to the toilet for quite few hours. Furniture and appliances felt a bit out-dated,and some of the mattresses needed a proper clean. Oven didn’t work properly as well. Moreover, neighbours said that we did overpaid for our stay, as other people rent their caravans for £500-£550 a week, while ours cost about £800. Not sure if it’s correct, but I guess, next time it’s worth doing some extra research. Also, One of the Outdoor benches was wobbly and not safe to sit on. BBQ small and very rusty.

Clean and tidy. Lovely quiet area. House rules were clean and left out in an obvious location to read upon arrival. Host was very quick to reply and help with questions.

Really unsure what to say here as there wasn't anything about the caravan we didn't like. Although the actual site we couldn't locate information on if any facilities were open or what times.

This was the first time my family visited Scotland and stayed in a static caravan! It was a great experience! We enjoyed every minute of it! The property is pet-friendly, only a few places offer this option. Pet owners are really grateful to know that they can enjoy their special occasions with their pets, the whole family together! The view and the scenery are amazing! The tranquillity of the area is WOW! The owner answered all our questions straight away which made us feel special. We were pleasantly surprised by the living room and the bathroom! The decorations and the setting of the living room made us feel at home! To me, personally, it was the best getaway ever!

I personally believe that spring or summer are the perfect times to visit places like this. For people, looking for a warm place, even with the heating on, it was not warm enough. The beds in the single rooms were smaller than expected (you can't tell by looking at the pictures). More photos of the lakes and the surrounding area would be great! And just a thought, a dish drainer rack would be great (a housewife appreciates the comfort of dishes drying quickly).

Wonderful lake view, lots of space in caravan, clean and welcoming, quiet area, couldn't ask for more, highly recommend! Lovely host on top of that :)
