Spacious Modern Apartment 20 Brewhouse

Loved the apartment and the location. Lovely comfortable flat that was light and had a great view.

Getting the keys were a faff having to drive a mile to pick up and then to drop off. Also the receptionist didn't know where the entrance was so we had to figure it out and ended up walking a long way through corridors with heavy bags and food as we were planning on cooking for a family get together. We chose the flat as it had a table for 6 but when we arrived it only had 4 chairs and we had to get more crockery and cutlery for the evening which was a bit annoying. However we enjoyed the stay. I have to say all the messages regarding warnings about late and early. Check-ins and prices and reminders before we were going was also a bit over the top. Surely a key safe and adequate direction, a code to get into the building would have made it all work smoother. One other gripe was that I chose the flat as it had a bath but we could only use the shower as the usual switch to swap from shower to bathwater didn't seem to work. I did let the service company know about this so hopefully it will be fixed for the next person. I would use this apartment again as it was comfortable and spacious. The above things I think could then make this a better stay for the next guest. I hope this is helpful. Also a £150 deposit I can understand but surely once the apartment is checked and cleaned this could be returned immediately rather than having to wait 7 -10 days!

Perfect location, sensational views

It’s in a great location with boat trips from just outside the building.

Not a lot of room in the bedroom for cases etc.

I was a bit upset as this company charge £30.00 for late arrival and also a deposit of £150.00 not sure why when you spend £459.00. Then you have to wait after you have left and chase this up. Property was not luxurious as was made out. The sofa had marks on it and also a rip and it did smell as well. The bathroom the bath had black marks where it’s old. There was no power in the bedroom and was frightened to call as this is another fee of £35.00 if they say it was not urgent. I spent my two days there in fear of what else they would charge me for. It was a shame as I went with a family member who lives in Plymouth and I had never been so it did spoil my stay. Will not be using this company again as it was all about money for me. Hence my review

The whole experience

Great location, nice modern apartment

Much more admin required than a normal stay in a managed apartment. Inconvenience of collecting and returning keys from a city centre location not at the property. Also inconvenience of paying a deposit and waiting 7-10 days for it to be returned.
