Tom was the best host and has a wonderful family. He is a very approachable and personal person. His place is private and intimate. You have a gorgeous view of Mt Taranaki and are close to town to satisfy your daily amenities; gas station, grocery store, restaurants and butcher.

Wonderful setting amongst native trees and of course there was a beautiful Kereru in the tree. Great tiny home, just what we needed.

The road noise was quite loud, but that’s just something we are not used to.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Kereru Creek. The tiny home was perfect for an end-of-winter vacation. It had everything we needed for four nights including a fully equipped kitchen, hot shower (great water pressure), heat pump and a comfortable bed. Our cassette toilet was emptied mid-way during our stay, and we were given fresh towels as requested. The tiny home is located 20 minutes away from New Plymouth (by car), close enough to grab a takeaway for dinner but far enough that it gives a beachy, glamping feel to the stay. Kereru Creek provides a sea view from the front door, and a view of Mount Taranaki from the driveway. On a sunny day it warms up really nicely (air conditioning provided if it is too hot), and on a rainy day its the perfect place to cozy up with a good book. Also, the view of the milky way and stars at night time is phenomenal! There are multiple beaches in the area, and little coastal towns (it is the surf coast highway!). All in all I would rate our stay a 10/10. Everything was great, the hosts were amazing and communicated really well, we will be back! :)

The only thing is we didn't get to see the dog :(

Il contesto era molto bello e nel verde, di notte essendoci poche luci si vedevano benissimo le stelle. Pur essendo piccolo l'alloggio era dotato di tutti i comfort, inclusa una cassa bluetooth per ascoltare la musica

Essendo una tiny house era ovviamente molto piccola. Vi abbiamo soggiornato durante il periodo invernale per cui si creava un po' di condensa. Forse servirebbe una passerella in legno per raggiungere l'ingresso poiché quando piove il terreno diventa un po' fangoso e oltre ad essere difficile trasportare le valigie le nostre scarpe si sono riempite di terra

I loved the garden around the location. Beautiful flowering trees which gave a parfum like smell.

The only thing I didn't like was the noise of the highway that was almost next to the tiny house.
