Chestnut,1 bedroom loft apartment with wood burner

The hosts were really accommodating and easy to deal with. The place was actually even nicer than the photos, which was a lovely surprise. It had everything we needed, plus a few thoughtful little touches that made it feel extra welcoming.

Clean, cosy, lovely fire, comfortable bed, great shower, little enclosed garden you could use, parking, full kitchen and all utensils.

The only VERY MINIMAL thing we would be able to say would be that the headlights and noise from the passing traffic annoyed our dog 😂 but that was honestly an ‘us’ problem as where we live she can’t see any traffic so wasn’t used to it.

Chestnut is a lovely place with everything I needed for my short break. The hosts were very quick with any queries. It was close to Main Road which made it easy for travelling to areas of interest/walking etc but still quiet enough not to be disturbed. I would go back.

Not what I didn't like as such but the general signal for Satnav/phone was not good resulting in lost phone/satnav. That is an issue with the location and not anything to do with Chestnut.

Liked that it had everything required as a home from home place.

The location was perfect,only 5 minutes drive from the beautiful beach. The property was very cozy and felt very welcoming. It was spotless and very well equipped,we had everything we needed for our self catering 2 nights stay. We would 100% recommend.

The only little thing if we had to say anything we didn't like was the blind in the bedroom. The light blue colour wasn't blocking any daylight out in the morning and we woke around 5am as it was very bright.No big deal though.
