LoughView BED & BREAKFAST

A great selection of cold items and fruits. We did not go for the cheese/meat plate that was in the refrigerator. Bed was comfortable. We had a unit with its own bathroom, and by other reviews of previous guests we were expecting to have to go out in a hallway. I would not call this unit close to anything if you are electing to be on foot. Its would take a 10-15 minute walk to get to the Cathedral Quarter.

Bathroom did not have a light over the sink and toilet. Shower was lit very well. We liked the shower sprays and lighting in the shower. we had to pull a string for the bathroom light. there was no fan in the bathroom. air movement in the unit was not good- we opened the windows for ventilation. Access to the unit was very awkward and the key codes on half of the outside access doors did not work- we ended up walking around the perimeter of the building to get to an adequate entry.

Very nice, clean & comfortable apartment. Well furnished with everything you could want/need for your stay. The breakfast tray was OK, but nothing special.

The breakfast tray was basic, but sufficient. Our only criticism is that we just couldn't get the TV to work in our room. We tried everything, but with no instructions & it being too late to contact the landlord, we had to give up.

This is an amazing place with every little detail thought of. We had difficulty finding the place ( our own fault entirely) and the owner came to collect us. Communication was easy with quick responses. Overall so helpful with dining recommendations. I cannot describe just how beautiful the views are in every direction.

Was a lovely location, there was a lady called christina who was lovely as well. She made an extra effort as we stayed for my partners so she made sure there was a nice little surprise for us both

There was a little hiccup as I wasn't aware the the room we booked was a two bed shared apartment. They went above and beyond to fix this though and moved the other booking so we had the apartment to our self's as no one wants to share with strangers. I would recommend that the description for the room it's self should state that there's a possibility that you could be sharing with another couple.

It had an apartment feel and the food left for us was great. Fantastic view. We had the first 2 nights to ourselves. A lovely American Bar pub 3 minutes walk away with a great Irish feel and live music.

Our last night, someone was in the other room, but they'd gone out and left the front door to the apartment unlocked when we arrived back in the evening, then they came in very noisily at midnight and leaving all the lights in the apartment on all night. That was just the downside to sharing with strangers.

Beautifully decorated. Location amazing. Gorge breakfast.
