Charming house by the sea

Cosy, had everything we wanted. Close to everything and perfect for our needs. Really nice stay. Beds were perfectly comfy and we all slept beautifully. Kitchen stocked with tonnes of stuff that we didn’t need to bring anything , so thank you . That was a nice surprise.

House needs a little updating, particularly the bathroom. Old style fan that stays on loudly for far too long but doesn’t clear steam etc and we flooded the shower on first use , shower was really good tho ! Garden needs clearing out . Would be useful to have info about the house and local amenities but we managed fine. Would be good to have regular Freeview tv, all channels were kids options , I could have signed myself into our own channels but it was locked so I couldn’t find a way to do this. Really little small things but overall stay was great. Most uncomfy couch tho, like sitting on a board ……

The only problem I experienced was the damp smell on the ground floor Apologies I feel bad but have to be honest

The property did not comply with the Fire Safety Order 2005. There were no smoke or heat detectors fitted anywhere in the house

Great location, short walk to the town centre. Good network of transport within 10 minute walk.

No problems with this lovely house, parking is on the street so it's a bit pot luck but that's all.

Did not like it to dirty for me to stay

The bed was sooooo comfortable! We could have stayed in it all day!

The lack of parking in the surrounding area

We loved the location of the property, beautiful beaches just minutes away. The house was nicely decorated and a good size. The bed in the double room was very comfortable. Access to a secure back garden was a bonus as we travelled with our dogs.

A handrail by the steps at the front door would have been great, my mum uses a walking stick and had to have help to enter the house as there was no rail. The stairs inside are also quite steep. I would also have appreciated blackout curtains as the wooden blind let in a lot of light in the morning.

The location was good and the beds were comfortable

The bath roll top of the was rusty with holes along it where you could easily get you fingers stuck in causing any sorts of safe and healthy issues. The kitchen sink was leaking leaving water on the floor when water was disposed it also smelt damp. The garden was over grown and needs addressing. This property was very basic and needs some attention to make it exceptable for comfortable holiday letting.
