Really comfortable and well-equipped cottage, set in a really beautiful and quiet area of the Forest, with the river running by and lots of bird life.

Great location in the new forest. Nice big garden.

I would have expected some shampoo and body wash in the bathroom and more than one small toilet roll. I appreciate it's a self catered cottage but little touches like that make a difference. The kitchen also needs to be better stocked as there's no baking trays for cooking. The furniture in the living room is tired and needs replacing, as do the mattresses.

Had the most wonderful stay at Heywood Cottage. The amenities were truly top class and the outdoor space was amazing.

Fantastic location, Lovely cottage with all the facilities required for a comfortable stay. Beautiful gardens and the hosts kindly left us the front gardens (Acres) for us to use privately as we wish.

Very Small point - would be nice if a small milk and maybe some butter left in the fridge. This would just elevate the service provided that tiny bit more.
