Somewhere between hotels.com and the landing my reservation was lost. After arriving from a 10 hour flight, I spent three more hours in a hot car outside of fountain Parc Apartments. The staff at the landing did not communicate well did not find solutions. Frustrating experience.
This is an apartment complex with some furnished apartments available for short-term stays. It is old, but well -maintained. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The area was nice.
The apartment was stocked with everything needed but my feet were black from walking barefoot. Floor had not been cleaned in quite a while. The people who lived above were outside smoking pot the entire weekend so we could not enjoy any time on the patio or open the windows. We got locked out twice and had to call twice for a new code to the door . Ugh….
The property management is awful. When I checked in- no starter items (toilet paper, soap etc.), came back later than night and items were there. Went to get in bed and found no sheets. Called management and they said- maybe tomorrow they could be delivered. In the morning, discovered we had no cold water so couldn’t shower because the water was so hot. Called repeatedly and was told they would try to fix it that day. No apologies for this huge inconvenience. The only positive about the management experience was the person who brought the sheets she also brought us new towels because the ones there were old and threadbare. Everything was finally fixed after 1.5 days. I was very disappointed that this company didn’t work out because it is so close to where I needed to be while in IN.
