"Very good"

The place is modern and newly renovated. Very clean and not far from San Juan beach and the main square. Fruit and water on arrival plus a warm welcome and guided tour. 24 hour shop opposite and restaurants nearby.

The apartment is in a newly developing area and as warned by our host on arrival, the drains do produce a bit of a stink. Though we didn't use it, the second bedroom is windowless. The immediate surroundings are a little rough and ready/ under construction. The beach nearby is nice for relaxing but if you are looking to swim, beaches further away are cleaner as this beach is used by boats.

The host was amaizing and met us right away. He explaind how the place works, where are local shops and was one call away at all times.

"Exceptional"

Miguel is a wonderful host extremely friendly, he helped me with my luggage, explained the area and recommended other areas to visit and easy to communicate with throughout the visit. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable. Everything was new in the apartment. The location was great, a block away from the beach, walkable town and more local feel. I would go just 15-20 minutes away to Costa Adele to the Siam Mall and other shopping, and more of the tourist experience.
