"Lovely house, shame about the bikes."

Gorgeous little house. Well equipped. Access to a great BBQ and outdoor kitchen. Easy drive to Abel Tasman.

Bikes were free according to Booking.com but 25 NZD each when we got there. Spoiled part of the attraction.... About 1km to nearest shops.

There was no chopping board and short of cooking pan. The shower space was too small and I could hardly turn around.

Spacious and comfortable living/dining/kitchen; well equipped kitchen, Nespresso with a bounty of pods, marmalade, jam, honey and butter in the fridge; great to have a washing machine. Uncluttered but thoughtfully furnished, lovely view of the hills, and easy walk to the sea.

Bathroom, albeit functional, was small and confined, a hairdryer was available but there was no plug in the bathroom which had the only mirror.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Motueka, feeling completely comfortable in the town and its surrounds. It was an absolute pleasure to return to the comfort of the cottage and make use of the well equipped kitchen and comfortable, homely interior. It was a bonus to be met by the resident cheeky chooks ad we came and went.

Lovely property, and beautiful surroundings- would highly recommend.

A mattress topper would make the bed perfection- just a thought as a little hard. 😊
