What a gem!!!! Beautiful Guest house, magnificent art, very comfortable rooms, scrumptious breakfast, marvelous experience. Toped only by the friendly and welcoming host Antonio. We will definitely be back. 🙌

"Good option for the area."

Friendly and courteous host. Very clean. Close to a couple of restaurants. House has lots of interesting items to keep your interest going and add to the nice ambience of the property . We enjoyed having some dogs around the house.

I would have to say that the room was small (had to store our suitcases in shower room), with no direct access to usable outside space. We stayed in a mountain view room. Other rooms may be better. We stayed 3 nights and it would perhaps not be so noticeable if the stay was just 1 night.

"Fantastic breakaway with 5-star treatment in the most beautiful Town!"

Upon our arrival, we were immediately upgraded to the largest available room, as we were the only guests during a weekday.. The decor and attention to detail were impressive. The breakfast was excellent and really made our day!

All in all, everything was excellent! Probably the weather could have been warmer, so we could have used the pool facilities.

Area is very safe, but I would have loved to park my car behind a locked gate.

Antonio’s guest house in Riebeek Kasteel is absolutely stunning - beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Antonio is a warm, gracious host who made me feel right at home. A perfect stay from start to finish. 10/10 recommend!

This is our second stay at 1 Royal. We cannot fault this property. This time we stayed in the Orchard Cottage Suite, which was exceptional. Everything you touch and see is curated with a stunning eye for quality, design and comfort. We love the art in this room. Antonio’s breakfasts give the Mount Nelson a run for its money!
