Le Terrazze di Donna Anna

The property has a spacious terrace with a view around the city, the apartments is quite spacious inside and is perfect for 6 people. It is a short walking distance to the city center and main street with shops and restaurants but is in more quiet place. Close to the apartment there us a big supermarket.

Some of the furniture in the living and dining room is a bit outdated and some of the chairs weren't very stable. The check out was at 10 o'clock which was a bit too early.

The photos really don't do justice to this beautiful rooftop apartment. It is much bigger and airier than it looks on photos and it had absolutely everything we needed- including working space as part of our group was on a working holiday. The with stunning views of Palermo and surrounding hills. The check in and airport transfers were easy as the property organised it for a fee, and the guys who did it for us were lovely. The location is perfect both for exploring the city and for going to the beach- there is a bus stop for Mondello100 minute from the property, while the centre is a 15 min pleasant walk through a lovely neighbourhood.

There was one strange thing, but I don't think it was entirely property's fault. When we did the booking we selected the option for 6 people and paid the price asked straight away. But when our itinerary arrived, it stated it was for 2 people (though the amount paid was what booking.com website asked for 6). When we contacted booking.com to tell them that, they came back to us saying that the property is now asking for more money as the number of guests changed from 2 to 6 (one operator said they wanted cash, another said they will charge our card, third operator said we do not need to pay anything extra and then came back to say the price per night changed). We wanted to have a nice holiday so we gave up arguing different operators saying random things, and the apartment was absolutely worth the money. But it was just strange way of making us pay a new price like that just one day before our arrival.
