Tranquil Dome - Manta's Retreat Glamping Cornereva

Our stay at this incredible outdoor accommodation was nothing short of magical! We spent two unforgettable nights in a cozy dome, heated by a charming fireplace that kept us warm and comfortable. The best part? Falling asleep under a sky full of stars, visible through the ceiling above and the large windows in front of us—it was a truly breathtaking experience. Getting there is an adventure in itself, with a 20-minute drive on a dirt road, but don’t let that discourage you—it only adds to the feeling of being completely immersed in nature. Once you arrive, you'll find yourself in a peaceful retreat, far from the noise of the world. The hosts, Andrei and Ionela, went above and beyond to make our stay special. Andrei offered us the most delicious homecooked meals, lovingly prepared by his parents using fresh ingredients from their nearby farm. Every morning and evening, he would personally bring our meals in a basket by foot, adding a wonderful personal touch. Just a tip—if you're arriving late in the evening, make sure to arrange dinner in advance, as there are no stores or restaurants nearby. That being said, we were so well taken care of that we never once felt the absence of modern conveniences. Our time here was the perfect balance of relaxation and immersion in nature. The tranquility, the warmth of the hosts, and the incredible food made it an experience to remember. We’re already planning to return in early or late summer so we can fully enjoy the jacuzzi on the veranda, which wasn’t available during our winter stay due to the cold weather. If you’re looking for a unique, peaceful escape with warm hospitality and delicious farm-to-table meals, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful place, surrounded by nature. You have your own jacuzzi on the porch. It’s hot inside, even in the winter. The host is very friendly, even gave us some cake for a welcome gift! Definitely recommend:)

We chose this place because we wanted a location a bit remote so we can watch the Perseides and it exceeded our expectations! It was like visiting old friends, that is how welcomed we felt at Manta’s Retreat! We enjoyed the delicious food prepared with so much love&attention by the owners. Everyday they tried their best to surprise us with something making our stay extremely pleasent. We can’t wait to come back!

It can get pretty hot inside the dome during the summer heatwave.

Amazing place in hills. Tent is huge, open space inside. Warm water, bathroom, small kitchen and so on - everything is as should be. Outside is hot tube, humming net, telescope, mountain bikes and kids playground. In my life, I never saw a night sky like there was. So beautiful, can't describe by words. You can't imagine what you are missing till you see it! Take warm clothes, nights are cold even during summer. Follow road signs "Mantas Retreat" and read instructions. Last part of road is like forest road, quiet tough. But I enjoyed it, you can make it also with non-SUV car, just need to be more careful and go slower. We were late and came almost at midnight, didn't read instructions and ignored road sign. Fortunately, owner is very kind and social person. I wish I would return sometimes.

We liked the view, the jacuzzi was awesome and the staff was very friendly.

It was raining and the wind was blowing quite fast. At times, the dome felt a bit unsafe, however it is very well built and there was no danger at all. In fact, it handled the high speed winds very well, however the wind made a bit of a noise that we had to get used to.

Unique experience, in the middle of nature. Retreat spot within the mountain landscape. Searching for silence and tranquility but with all commodities, it is truly a tale corner, multiplying magic by host’s hospitality and kindness.
