"Quiet country refuge"

8.0

Part of a traditional house, far from the madding crowd deep in the lush green countryside. A quiet, slightly quirky refuge; comfortable bright and clean with a friendly and obliging host and a large gentle dog. Good breakfast but would need to drive for evening meal.

Fine for an overnight stay but not enough storage room for unpacking for a longer stay.

"Quiet and refreshing stay in the country and near the Wild Atlantic Way."

9.0

We were warmly greeted by the host and enjoyed a conversation about the area. The room was clean, quiet and inviting. The location was convenient to many attractions and restaurants. As we had visited the area before, we were able to return to some of our favorite spots. As we had travelled several hours that day, the stay was refreshing and enjoyable.

"Our stay was lovely and if we every come back to Sligo, this will be the place we stay. Thank you!"

10.0

Noelle, the innkeeper was charming, knowledgeable and fun, and she made us feel right at home. When we got lost, she even drove to find us and guide us to the B&B! The ensuite was spotless and we had everything we needed. Noelle used to work for the Tourist Board, so she is extremely well-versed in the area, offering lots of suggestions on things to see, places to eat, etc. We only wish we had a few more days to explore the area. The "light" breakfast was anything but light, and it was just what we needed to recharge ourselves for a day of hiking. If you're coming to the Sligo area, you can't go wrong with this accommodation.

"Relaxing, enjoyable and highly recommendable"

9.0

Our hostess was very bubbly, attentive and knowledgeable about the area. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Close to beach and Sligo township. Overall, a great quiet place to stay. Maybe tea and coffee and kettle in the room but other than that a great place.

"Would highly recommend would have been nice to be staying longer."

9.0

Picturesque cottage, bubbly welcoming host, very cute friendly dog. Noelle was a very generous host only too happy to share her home with us and to share her local knowledge with suggestions of things to do & see. We felt very comfortable staying there.

Hard to fault.

"Perfect stay with a homey feel"

10.0

We were very lucky to find Noelle’s accommodation as we needed a place near Sligo to spend the night during our trip along the Wild Atlantic Way! Not only were we welcomed in the most generous way after a long drive and we got some great recommendations, we also received the most amazing breakfast in the morning which we were very grateful for. Noelle is a very good-hearted host and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you! (Also 10/10 would recommend to any dog lover because Noelle’s dog Daisy is to die for!)
