Water View Cottage, Conwy

Pretty well appointed cottage set in a perfect location, with amazing views across the harbour. Close to shops, restaurants and castle etc. Free parking. Abby, the host was very helpful and responsive.

As an older couple a downstairs bathroom coupled with a steep, tight staircase to negotiate at night, may not be ideal for everyone.

Great location with a brilliant view and central for walking into town. House comfortable and well equipped if a little quirky. Free parking close by was appreciated.

Perhaps could provide instructions for unfamiliar gadgets - a bit of trial and error solved most things though

The cottage was adorable and so cosy, and we absolutely loved the location. Sitting outside with a cup of tea in the morning was a real joy! Everything was clean on arrival and the bedrooms and living room were very comfortable and well equipped. The pub just two seconds down the road was also super cosy and welcoming, and we loved wandering about Conwy - overall we had the best time and made some lovely memories.

It's unavoidable due to the layout of the property but the only thing to be aware of is the stairs are very steep, so worth thinking about if you have any mobility issues. We were in the second smaller bedroom and did notice the pigeons having a bit of a party outside the window but I think this can't be helped - so if you're using that room I suggest bringing some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

House was absolutely stunning

Could do with a little information sheet in bathroom to tell you where the switches are for the shower and hot water . And how to turn on the radiators .Very minor thing but it saves having to contact the owner but she was very quick to answer and was very helpful. .

Charming little cottage in an excellent location. So lovely to look out of the window and have the wonderful view of the boats on the water - very relaxing. Very easy to walk into the town centre.

Parking can be a little tricky but we managed to park near the property, free of charge for our whole stay.

Brilliant location on the waterfront, perfect for a solo cup of tea watching the water and wildlife first thing in the morning before the busy day starts. The waterfront is a photographer's dream, and so is the castle that bears down over the water's edge and town. The cottage was perfectly clean and comfortable, and we didn't want for anything really. I would recommend staying here.

Cute and homely cottage in a great location. Lovely to see the see from the front windows! The cottage had everything we needed and the host was quick to answer any questions. Really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing

Conwy is a beautiful little coastal town, sat inside castle walls. Pictures don’t do it justice. And this cottage is in the prime location, with a sea view and boats just on the doorstep. There is a lot of thought that’s gone into the property, and little details that are helpful in having a comfortable stay. On arrival, there were some sweet treats left for us and a welcome note. A short walk away, are lovely little shops, some great restaurants and pubs, and coastal walks that take you to the beach. Llandudno is also close by and we went there via bus.

Really not much. Everything was pretty spot on. Just a note though, is there is 1 double bed, 1 single bed that does pull out into a double, and there is a sofa bed downstairs but it is not very comfortable. This was a bit tricky with 3 grown women sleeping separately.

Water front location yet also in the heart of the town. Fully equipped with everything you need.
