Castle at Moloka'i Shores

Great location and grounds. Kitchen utensils and dishes etc could use an update. Condo was nice and clean. Enjoyed our stay.

It should be noted the units are not air conditioned. Very hot in the afternoon but it cooled down nicely in the evening. A $125/cleaning fee is pretty steep when you are told to empty trash and strip the beds. Check out is a bit early, 10:00.

Very nice accomodations. Raised on Molokai, family visit. Enjoyed the time there.

We had a wonderful two weeks stay here. The grounds are immaculate, the pool perfect and right on the ocean with a little beach. Be prepared though that when the ad says basic amenities and self-catering it really does mean that. For example 2 toiletry samples, 4 towels were supplied for the whole two weeks, 2 knives for a family of four. However, when we went to the office in town to get more supplies they were very helpful and there the next morning. It's just remembering to do this. The apartment was very clean but needing some repair, structurally and to the furniture. Overall though one overlooks these little things, there's a great store, supermarket in town for anything you need, just enjoy the peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings.

When you check in, you need to go to an off site property. The staff there is friendly and nice thou. The room wasn’t what I expected at all!!! The view was great but that’s about it. The bed made a noise with every move you made even the ceiling fan in the room made a constant noise. I only stayed for one night but I’m glad that was the case, spending another night here would not make me happy at all!!

What a great place to just relax in beauty and warm weather. Grounds we beautifully maintained. Condo needed some updating, but was clean enough. Residents/renters of condos were very friendly and respectful of quiet hours. We will return.

There are not too many options on Molokai, so expectations weren't too high. This property was clean and comfortable. There are a mix of vacation rentals and full time residences at Molokai Shores. We were surprised by the additional one hundred-thirty dollar cleaning fee that charged at check-in (not covered in Expedia fees). ALSO NOTE: Check in NOT on the property. It's in an office located in the small town about a mile from the actual property. Finding the office was a little tricky and they close promptly at 4PM.

First, this is not a hotel, and should not be on hotels.com. (It's private condos rented as hotel rooms.) There's only one hour per day of on-site staff. Second, when we pulled out the sofa-bed, the sheets were dirty and crawling with lice.
