It was very clean and open, gorgeous decor everywhere! Very well looked after.

Nothing it was lovely!

We found the accommodation to be immaculately clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished. The kitchen and bathroom are very sleek, there is a Smeg kettle and a matching Nutribullet and ample crockery and cutlery. There is a microwave which I believe has a grill feature too. There is a cafetiere for pressing coffee and Morgan provided a milk jug, butter, tea, coffee and sugar. The bedroom boasts a velux window, a comfy sofa and a very plush bed (Queen size i think?). The tv is in the bedroom and has Sky and all other smart TV functions. There is private parking right outside the accommodation, which is accessed by a private gate. There is a village pub about 1 minutes walk away, and you are 15 minutes drive from York City centre. The bathroom is a bit of a squeeze but is gorgeously furnished with a large double shower, towels and hand soap. The kitchen/ living area boasts some beautiful wooden ceiling beams which look very old and tie in beautifully with the simplistic modern decor.

Although very pretty looking, the French doors have only a net curtain meaning that the whole living area is 'on show' and with the evenings being so dark and needing the lights on indoors we felt quite exposed and not comfortable to lounge around or leave the bathroom without being in full dress. We would also say the property is 'dog tolerant' rather than 'dog friendly'

Loved our stay. The apartment was beautiful, cosy, spotlessly clean, and most importantly, for me, a really comfortable bed i slept really well. The bread and jams were a lovely touch for breakfast, which made a lovely start to the day. Morgan, our host, was really nice and welcoming. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Our only regret was that we didn't book a longer stay

Very spacious and clean. Beautifully decorated. Cosy and comfortable. Secure. Great value for money. Owner provided milk, orange juice, butter, jam, bread, teabags and coffee etc.

Not very private in the kitchen/bathroom/lounge area. No curtains and owners could see through, which wasn’t ideal when getting out the shower etc. A full length mirror and somewhere to hang coat/clothes would make this stay perfect. We didn’t get to meet the host.

Great location, beautiful place

There was a large poo in the middle of the bedroom floor and animal hairs all over the bedspread.

Super clean and beautifully decorated. It was so nice having some bread, jam, juice etc. left in the kitchen for our breakfast. Great value for money and just a short drive from York.
