Beautiful space, well converted and immaculately. clean. The bed was super comfortable and the host family were vey helpful when we realised we'd not brought a hairdryer! Great pub nearby and a lovely location, close to the York Park & Ride

Just needs a few basics improving - there is no cooking facility apart from a microwave (ie no hob or oven) A wee hob or maybe an air fryer would make it a better self catering option. The net curtains in the kitchen/dining area made us feel on show to the hosts' home and to the neighbours across the way. As the bathroom opens into this space, we'd have preferred to be able to close curtains for privacy. There is nowhere to hang clothes - perhaps a small rail in the bedroom? And there's no hooks on any of the doors either.

Everything! It was rustic quite sophisticated with modern facilities. I loved the electric safety gate that opened and closed like a draw bridge. Safe and secure. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Nearby Shipton was a delight

Absolutely stunning , we had the most perfect weekend and the stable was beyond what we expected . Highly recommend x
