Duck cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. Cleaned to a high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Duck cottage was a great central location for exploring the area. We were able to ditch the car and walk into Anstruther a few times and we enjoyed walking along to Kilrenny Common to the play park and to see the baby lambs. The cottage itself was very comfortable with great comfy beds, lots of seating in the living area and a well equipped kitchen for eating at home. The large fridge freezer was ideal for us and the washer and drier came in handy too The weather was mixed the week we went so we made good use of the DVD and CD collections. We appreciated the clear info and separate bins to allow us to recycle and the pint of milk and shortbread on arrival was a lovely touch and very welcoming.

The church bells chiming so regularly and during the night was a bit strange. We somehow got used to it after a few nights and stopped waking every time but if you or your children are light sleepers you might find it more annoying. Some of the kitchen pots are getting a bit old but expect they'll be replaced in time as the owner was very receptive to other suggestions we made.

Everything we needed in cottage was there. Comfortable beds. Quiet area. Short journeys into other towns.

This is my second stay at Duck Cottage. Such a lovely place and quiet location. The bedrooms were a good size and really cosy. Comfy beds. Kitchen was really well stocked so we could cook to our hearts content. My cat settled quickly. There was enough space for me to put his cat tree and his other things.

It was cold on arrival but with the help of Connie we managed to get the heating going. Thank you. We really enjoyed our stay.
