The beautiful view was absolutely breathtaking. The host was lovely and readily available by WhatsApp to answer my many questions.

Two really minor things:- I was disappointed to find out the TV remote batteries did not work. We don't usually watch TV when we are abroad, but decided to on our last afternoon as it was so hot. One of the wooden chairs was broken on the balcony and I noticed in time before my husband sat on it.

Fantastic view. Our host gave us a wonderful welcome and provided good support when issues arose. Kitchen was well equipped with all needed items for self-catering. A bit out of town but a wonderful walk alongside the lake to get to the Thursday market. Good main road access, and to smaller roads around the lake.

Traffic noise was bad - the property is high above a very busy road, vehicles don't disturb the wonderful view but you can certainly hear them weekend and weekday; no problem with the window/doors shut but the warmth is best on the terrace. The internal sound-proofing of the neighbours beside and below was also poor, perhaps typical for similarly aged properties. There is a balcony/terrace but no garden as suggested in the description; this is only meaningful if you have pets to toilet, which can only be done on two small grass patches in the carpark. We felt it was overpriced for comparators.

The owner of the property is very nice and helpful, perfect communication at check in and check out. Excellent location close to the lake, bars and restaurants. The place is very tranquile, no noise. Private car parking.
