Seashells, close to seafront, large private garden

Location central to Lyme Regis. Lovely private garden with decking.

Perfect location with beautiful furnishings. Very quaint cottage vibes. Equipped with most of the essentials such as hair dryer, iron, ironing board etc. On arrival the staff had left a small bottle of bubbly and biscuits which was a sweet touch.

Unfortunately the bed was too small for us. I'm a taller lady and my partner is a large kiwi bloke which made this bed uncomfortable for us. It would have been nice to have refillable bodywash in the shower (and perhaps shampoo/conditioner).

Super comfy bed, great location, and a nice place to start and finish the day with good kitchen facilities, a decent couch and TV, and a pleasant garden.

The noise from people upstairs can be very distracting - there was a family up there during my stay and, kids being kids, a lot of running up and down and jumping at breakfast and dinner time. Maybe the hosts could put some notices for guests staying upstairs to be mindful of their noise.

Location is great, near the beach, restaurants, shops. Great value and the availability of the short break we were looking for

Nothing to fault

Mattress was uncomfortable. Would be nice to have a heated towel rail to dry towels on wet days

Location was fab. It's on a main road so you shouldn't be surprised by noise. The shutters in the bedroom are brilliant to block light and suppress the noise. Small but had everything you need. Hosts very kindly agreed a late check out which was most welcome.

Bathroom didn't ever seem to get warm and we visited during a cold snap so it was very very cold in there despite boosting the heater.

A lovely little property, ideally situated for the town and seafront. It was clean & cosy with everything provided by the owners to ensure a comfortable stay. As it was winter we didn’t get to sit in the garden but I imagine this would be great during the warmer months.

Lack of parking directly outside the property is a drawback, especially when loading & unloading the car, but there are car parks nearby, albeit up a steep hill!
