Lots of cobwebs. Needs a good clean. The shower is not in great shape. The radiator in the bathroom doesn't work.

Good location, easy parking, clean and tidy. Good and helpful communications from Josh, the owner. Living room, kitchen, front bedroom and bathroom all a decent size. Back bedroom less so but not too bad.

Very poor mattresses, too soft and you could feel individual springs in one of them. They need replacing. The shower was dreadful in that the water flowed out all over the bathroom - I didn't notice till I finished showering and stepped out into a very wet bathroom, with water even flowing as far as the toilet. Also only 6 of the 9 lightbulbs in the bathroom actually worked. Providing just one (low quality) toilet roll for 3 guests staying 2 nights just seemed very mean. The towels had been cleaned but, despite the powerful smell of conditioner, still smelled rather rank. I suspect they had been through the low temperature economy wash cycle but, whatever it was, it was inadequate. The bedroom curtains don't keep out the light — we ended up draping the spare blanket and bed cover over the curtain rail. We were also surprised to find that the only drinking glasses were a few very tall wine glasses – not ideal for milk, water or even orange juice or beer. We knew the location was by a busy road so we weren't expecting blissful silence but a little more sound insulation would have been nice.
