Suite Cielo, Discover the magic of Galapagos

Van begin tot het eind was alles top. Op het afgesproken tijdstip werden we, als service, van het vliegveld opgehaald. Daarna een nette ontvangst bij het appartement door de host. Het comfortabele appartement lag heel centraal en had prachtig uitzicht. De eigenaar was heel gastvrij en de service was buitengewoon.

Eigenlijk niets!, maar als we toch iets moeten opmerken: - het keukengerei was erg afgepast, dus 2 bordjes, 2 glazen, enz. Dat is wat karig als je toevallig een kopje extra nodig hebt.

The location

The owner. He is trying to take advantage of the customers. He wanted all in cash and a different amount than shown on the app. Hidden costs in order to compensate the commission to booking. I payed in cash but haven’t received an invoice yet. Also this stay actually has a different name than in booking. You should block them. “Cabanas Don Jorge”

We enjoyed having a drink or breakfast on the balcony overlooking the water. The property is walking distance to downtown, harbour, interpretation center and right across from Mann beach. Air conditioning was wonderful. Clean quiet and comfortable bed. A very relaxing spot. The owner was very easy to communicate with on WhatsApp and supplied many helpful suggestions.

A couple more hooks in the bathroom would be helpful. The shampoo and body wash was very scented for us. You must be good with stairs to stay here.

The pictures don’t do justice to this lovely, smart, clean apartment with fabulous sea views, close to a great beach and just a few minutes walk to the various seafront restaurants and bars. Moreover, Fernando the host was exceptional going way beyond the call of duty: helping us before we arrived with some tours we were having trouble arranging, helping my wife get treatment for an injury and arranging a different flight between the islands and transport early on New Year’s Day. Faultless - thank you Fernando!

Everything. The apartment is a highlight in San Cristobal, hands down the best place we stayed in all of Galapagos. Perfect place to be, close to Playa Mann, but far enough from the road to enjoy the tranquility and the beautiful views. The apartment is super tastefully designed, and everything one needs to be comfortable is provided. Fernando is an incredible host, beyond attentive. We loved our stayed at Suite Cielo.

Nothing, everything was perfect

All in line with expectations. Very good quiet positions in front of playa mann and 20 mins walk from Darwin bay. 10/15 mins walk to the main road. Taxi fares are fixed and cheap 2 USD centre, 2.5 airport etc etc. the view is amazing and the kitchen is fully operational. Bathroom good. Top service from the host...the first night we feel a bit cold and we ask for something. They bring to us within 30 mins a new duvet...

The only problem with the penthouse is the sunlight since early in the morning despite the curtains. This could point also be positive because it forces you to be on the move early... considering sunset is around 6 pm.
