Spacious Home In The Heart of West Yorkshire

Lovely kitchen with good facilities for making/sharing a family meal together. Plenty of space throughout the property. Good bath towels. Has been well appointed.

The bed linen was worn, bobbly and thin which caused retention of debris from laundering. Eg body hair. There was also no mattress protector under the thin bottom sheets, so overall we were rather conscious of previous bed occupants.

The beds were comfortable the third floor was the best spacious and had a bathroom . Decent size bedroom's The property was very clean and had powerful showers with a large bath too The garden was very handy for my dog and enclosed too so he couldn't get out . We loved the size of the kitchen and table . The host Tom was very responsive though and made us feel at home and was very quick answering questions too . The house felt warm we settled in very quickly and was close to Halifax by car.

When we had arrived there was a broken chair Also we couldn't use the toaster as when we tried to use it I think it was broken as it was smokey. The TV in the living room needs to come down a little bit we felt it was a little bit high and felt it was hurting our necks .The stairs were pretty steep . The fridge was big however the freezer was tiny if you got a big shop it would be a problem as the freezer was very small. The dryer for the clothes was downstairs in the basement which was a little bit annoying.

The facilities were really nice and easy to use. A very comfortable environment with kitchenware and bathroom accessories provided. A close distance to superstores, the high street, and a nice park.

We thought the website description could be a bit clearer. For example we thought there were two large double beds and 4 single beds in one room but it was actually 4 beds or 2 large double beds (by pushing the single beds together)

Beautiful house, nice homely feel. Comfortable beds, lovely kitchen.

The driveway was not big enough for our car but we could park right outside.
