Willow Chalet near Cartmel & Lake Windermere

clean and tidy, property has everything you need. very quiet location with no one around.

hot tub wasn't pre heated so couldn't use for the first 24hours. smell of stale damp when we first entered. I do wish we had found somewhere closer to the lakes/civilization. Hot tub is located round the side of the property and you need to walk over stones to access, bit cold to use in the winter. Couldn't get into 'game room' aswell which would've bonused the property. local area is very cut off. very little taxi service etc.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Willow Chalet in the Lake District. The staff exceeded all expectations, providing exceptional service and making our stay truly memorable. They were friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to ensure our comfort.However, I must admit that the location didn't quite match the high standards set by the staff. It was not as picturesque as we had hoped for, which was a bit disappointing given the Lake District's natural beauty.Nonetheless, I would still recommend Willow Chalet to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The staff's dedication and commitment to guest satisfaction are commendable, and the chalet provides a comfortable and peaceful environment for a rejuvenating break. With a few improvements in the location, this place has the potential to be a perfect retreat.

Just the location, was a bit far everywhere.

Everything about this place was lovley the chalet, the location, the facilities and my children loves the hot tub. We will defo be back to stay again 😀

Nice and secluded location, everything was clean, great communication, hot tub was great, nice greenery around.

Smelt a bit musty when we went inside. Sofa on entrance had water type stains, advise on having a sofa throw on it.

We liked the property. Nice and clean. All you need for a good gateway. Staff was very friendly and helpful answering quickly to all my questions when needed. Definitely we will book again.

Was a great chalet. Very comfy and clean. Great location. Lots around the area to see and do.

Could do with some trays for the oven ie. pizza trays. Maybe outside needs a jet wash around the hot tub cover.
