LakEscape - Waterfront Self- Catering Cabins

The setting of these cabins is fantastic, a beautiful view overlooking the lake. The cabins are so well equipped, with everything you could possibly need. Wakening up in the morning and having your coffee on the deck overlooking the lake was a memorable experience. The attention to detail is second to none, they really have thought of everything. From makeup remover, to bagels/cereal right down to pillow spray to help you sleep. The hot tub is also a really fantastic touch. I couldn’t rate the property highly enough, thanks to Neil and Seema for make our stay so special.

Neil met us on arrival, gave us the keys to our cabin and explained all the things that were available and how to use the tech. We had a wonderful time in the hot tub with our friends who were staying in the other cabin and watched some Netflix on the projector whilst getting ready (something about having a projector made this extra fun). We were pleasantly surprised to see how much complimentary food and drink was offered. Good range of cereals, pack of bagels, biscuits, teas, coffees, and even a bottle of milk in the fridge. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and we slept very well. Neil really goes above and beyond to provide comfort. We were also very grateful for him giving us a lift nearby for a wedding, and his offer to pick us up late at night. Not expected but truly kind of him. We are looking forward to a return trip here in the future.

Everything was perfect.

The view was amazing, the hot tubs were a really nice touch and nothing was too much trouble for Neil. Also the heating WORKED. the mattress and bed spread were better than in some 5 stars we've stayed. Simba ftw. The spread of sauces and teas (squash pouches!) were great and the coffee machine 'how to' was definitely helpful. Mini fridge was a good touch as was the milk and cereals and bagels despite it being self-catering.

Nothing really. Only thing of note is that it is a very rural location, so don't just count on being able to walk everywhere, we rented a car as it ended up being cheaper than taxis haha.

Beautiful location very quiet at night. Very well designed cabin. Very well equipped for hot drinks. Very convenient and much cheaper than Lusty Beg where we were attending a wedding reception

Difficult to find the correct entrance from the main road.

This place is amazing! Neil gave us a very friendly welcome when we arrived, the view is beautiful, everything was super clean, the bed is the best we have ever slept in. Our favourite parts were the hot tub and projector! The hosts have thought of everything! Even a torch and umbrella if you want to take a short stroll to the lake in the evening!

Everything, the view is amazing, every feature within the cabin itself was beautiful. The little extras that was provided to make our stay that bit better was appreciated. It was spotless! Has everything u can think off for cooking even a hob, kettle toaster and much more The projector and just the overall cosyness makes it a perfect getaway no matter the season! The host went above and beyond to ensure me and my partner where happy and checked in with us before leaving. Will already cannot wait to re-book again.

Setting was gorgeous , couldn’t fault the room it had everything you needed and more , hosts were really helpful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and can’t wait to come back.
