SEThe apartment itself was beautiful. It was a quite modern, well-decorated loft. The view was also fantastic and everything was near us - quite amazing location and the best area to stay if you are looking for a night life and nice dinner experiences.
We had an extremely stressful situation upon arrival. We got stuck in the elevator for almost 15 minutes - as we entered the elevator, which had no sign of technical issues, we entered the elevator (4 of us, with only purses and no luggage) and immediately, as we pressed the button, we got stuck in between two floors. We saw that the elevator was not moving, and started screaming for help. My cell phone signal worked at some point and that was when I was able to send a message to the owner. There were 2 guests in the building who heard us, and they were the ones who called for help - we heard noises from the bottom floor, and noticed that they were restarting the building. The guests mentioned to us that they were quite surprised that we took the elevator, since there were technical issues with the elevator since Wednesday, and no one has done nothing until then, and that the owner should have informed this to us. The owner arrives about half an hour later, gaslighting us and basically saying that there are no issues with the elevator. He continues to write us messages questioning the incident, as if it never happened - this really upset us, because instead of him just saying "I am sorry about this" and perhaps extending us a complimentary offer, he continued to argue against our own story, which has actually happened. I don't think this behavior is ok coming from a host and we were extremely dispappointed. Also, please be aware that this apartment does not accomodate 4 people - it has a big bed that sleeps 2, and a futton couch that could sleep one person.
