4 Bed House in Coventry City Centre, by ARP HOMES, Driveway & Garage, Big Garden, Ideal for Contractors, Families and Long Stays

Location was good

-Being ‘spied’ on with the cameras front and back of the house -House sleeps 6 but only: *4 tea cups/mugs *4 tumblers *5 seats in the lounge -No welcome pack or information folder -Garage door was broken, which when we reported it, we were informed that they were aware of this but didn’t tell us in advance, this made accessing the ev charger really difficult -No games (cards or board games) -Windows dirty -Lovely patio but no furniture to sit out on -Poor WiFi -Kitchen poorly equipped: *Not enough oven trays *Broken scissors *Broken spatula *Blunt knives -Chair in lounge was missing a screw so unsafe -The previous renter’s cigarettes were left in the garden in a drinks bottle, ripped wallpaper on feature wall in a bedroom, Dining table scratched -Property looks well used, with scratches & marks on walls, chips out of walls & skirting boards, doors that could do with repainting -Waited until check in day to advise of the additional charge per dog - £50 each. Plus an additional refundable deposit of £250 on top of the standard £250 deposit -Used the camera over the garage door to determine how times we used the ev charger, which was incorrect but it was a battle we couldn’t win -Requested a lot of which we considered to be unnecessary information as part their pre-check in process -Early check-in was available but at extortion prices, so we made sure to stand outside the property until the clock said 5:01 in case we were charge even for checking in early! -Even took a video and pictures when we arrived to ensure we weren’t charge for damage the wasn’t ours Definitely wouldn’t stay there again which was ashamed as the location was good.

Central location. Easy commute to Birmingham, Coventry and Rugby to see all family and friends. Exceptionally clean. Basic necessities present ie. sugar, tea, toilet paper, washing up liquid. Great gas cooker and oven. Spacious dine in kitchen, and an amazing luxury shower. A larger than average green city centre garden. Drive to park, roadside, or garage.

poor set of saucepans,with the nonstick scraped off. Only one large pot for a large family to use. Cooking spoons all slotted, inadequate for sauces. Non stick slicer melted and left for us to use. Only one dinner set available, this means the dishwasher would have to be turned on half empty at least twice a day, if I wanted to use the dinner set for 2 meals? This wasn’t economical or practical for us, so I washed by hand. So another set of plates, tumblers and mugs needed please. (the team had some ordered for me, but we could not coordinate a time to collect these. Management decided it was professional to allow non essential works to take place whilst we were present. I did explain it was not the done thing unless it was an emergency, but they failed to understand why I was complaining. If they could understand my point, and not repeat this I would use the property again, when visiting family because it was the best property I have used within the midlands area so far.

Ikke nok glas, kopper og bestik til 6 personer. Andre ting var ikke brugbare. Garageport virkede ikke, så ikke muligt at oplade bil.

Everything was tip top!

The house was very clean . Coventry city centre was about a 12 min walk and very close .

There was a press in the kitchen with two locks on it and a chain . While we used the kitchen to cook and sit at the table it wasn’t very pleasant looking at this . Took the homely feeling away . The hallway or upstairs would be better location out of sight . It would have been nice to have milk and a snack in the fridge after a long day of travel to go with the tea and coffee that were supplied upon arrival. We stayed at Anas house for three nights and only one dishwasher tablet and two washing pods were left out . Blackout blinds would have helped sleep longer. The room was bright at 5.30 am . This might not bother everyone. Garden furniture would have been nice to sit out on as one day was beautiful. We used the kitchen chairs . Extra bed linen would have been handy if the double bed needed to be configured to 2 singles . I’m sure Ana would have sorted it if required but to have extra linen would have been nice as it was quite hot at night .There are security cameras at the front and back of the house . This did not bother us as we also felt secure .

The owners were exceptional in helping us at every stage of our booking and our stay.

It was warm and cosy upon arrival. Well presented. 2 upstairs bathrooms. ( I don’t like sharing) Everything you needed, home from home.

Felt a little intruded having cameras around but I guess it’s the area. Just be sure you mention if you’re having an occasional furry friend visitor.
