Panoramic Sea View Balcony Apartment in the Heart of Praiano, Casa Mimì Junior

Everything was “next level”. Sandra was an amazing host & could not do enough for us both prior to & during our stay. Property had everything & more plus treats provided on arrival - bowl of fresh fruit & the most amazing tomatoes! The property view is stunning, location - perfect & home itself plus inclusions were quality with nothing left out! Truly is a beautiful home!

Nothing - perfection plus!

An exceptional apartment with an exceptional hostess! We highly recommend Mimi Junior Home. We have stayed in several similar vacation homes in Europe, but we have not experienced a stay like this. The apartment is very large with a long balcony running along the two bedrooms and living room providing views of Positano and in the distance, Capri. There is also a tiny alcove off the kitchen facing the ocean as well. Anything that you could possibly need in a holiday home was provided. In addition to all cooking and dining utensils there were two types of coffee, condiments, shower items, clothes and dish washing detergents, beach items, iron, and ironing board – we didn't need for anything except a longer stay! The owner/hostess, Sandra, has over thirty years of experience in the travel and hospitality industry and it showed through her attention to detail. She stayed in touch with us prior to our arrival and during our stay which was appreciated given the somewhat unreliable public transportation system along the coast. (She even provided bus tickets so that we would not have to sort that out on our first venture out of Praiano.) We chose to stay in this town given the access to the Path of the Gods. She helped us get oriented with that as well. There are very good restaurants very close by.

This is not a negative as we liked everything but a tip - be prepared to walk up and down steps. This is not a flat part of Italy.

The beautiful location and the view from our room were more than spectacular.. Our hostess Sandra was so sweet and made our stay so comfortable. All of her recommendations were perfect for our needs. She left us a fresh fruit bowl and bus tickets as well.

The bus rides were a bit scary as the road is winding and narrow. The only other thing I was not happy about is not booking a few more days in one of the most beautiful settings I have ever seen.

Beautiful, well located and well appointed apartment overlooking the sea in Praiano. Sandra was a phenomenal host. She welcomed us warmly, with a gift of her father’s oranges and tomato sauce. She helped us to organize the details of our stay, including restaurants, taxis, etc. and even bought groceries for us as we were arriving late at night on Dec 23rd. The comfort and personal touches made this a wonderful vacation experience.

The apartment is spacious, bright and very well appointed with great attention to detail. The location is ideal close to the main road yet very quiet. The view from the balcony is stunning. Sandra is a fabulous host, she welcomed us, helped with our luggage up the stairs, provuded us with information on the area, made arrangements for a tour and transfer to Naples and made sure we had everthing we needed. Highly recommend Mimi Junior.

Everything was perfect!

What we like about the property: 1. Amazing views. You can see Capri and the faraglioni, as well as Positano from the balcony. 2. Location. It is easy to get to either Positano or Amalfi from here. And after a crazy day out, you come back to a quiet apartment with amazing views. Heaven! 3. The apartment is huge considering its location on the Amalfi coast. Very beautifully designed. The pictures don’t do justice to the place. The bedrooms and living room open up to a long balcony overlooking the sea. There are deck chairs and tables/chairs to enjoy the views from. We had our breakfast here on one of the days when it was not raining. The kitchen has a separate balcony with a bigger area for dining. The kitchen is very well equipped although we didn’t really get to use it that much. The beds had the most gorgeous bed linens and good pillows and mattresses. The bathroom was spacious, clean, a good shower and a washing machine. 4. Sandra is a fabulous host. Right down to providing the basics (hair conditioner in the bathroom was an unexpected surprise, along with basic olive oil, vinegar, salt, sugar for cooking, beverages, drinking water) as well as bus tickets to start our first journeys on the Amalfi coast. The SITA bus services were affected by road closures and the ferry schedules were disrupted by bad weather during our stay. Sandra stayed in constant contact with us to make sure that we weren’t stranded, and made sure that we got to our next destination (Naples) safely and on time. Thank you so much. Without you, our trip could have turned out to be a nightmare. A tip for those thinking of driving - don’t! The roads are narrow and windy. We witnessed an accident during our only day travelling to Amalfi.

Nothing!

I don’t think there are enough adjectives in any language to describe how wonderful Sandra was in making our stay the best possible. From the extra bus tickets to the lovely tomatoes from her father’s garden to the gorgeous view, it was a perfect stay!

Only con is that we didn’t stay longer.

Our hostess, Sandra, was amazingly attentive. The apartment was well appointed—coffee, creamer and water in the frig, figs, tomatoes from her dads garden and fresh flowers awaited us! Can’t say enough about how well we were treated!

It was noisy at night (road noise) but who can complain about that? Close the windows!!! The bells from the church were delightful!

Spacious, comfortable, well-stocked, clean and a most fabulous view and within walking distance. And, Sandra, the host was amazing with restaurants, activities, bus schedules - anything we wanted to know. Also, so friendly- the BEST
