Charming 2 Bedroom Apartment in Baixa Chiado

Great apartment great location but at the moment August 2025 if wanna have morsleep not gonna happen as the work next door they banging and making noise from 7 am apart from that loved the place

Just the location of the property

Someone with access to the keys entered the apartment on the second day while we were out and stole all our money. The host was completely unprofessional and unhelpful. She even admitted to the police during the investigation that there was a third key with the housekeeping staff, which raises serious concerns about the property’s security and trustworthiness. To make matters worse, the only response we received from the host was, "I'm sorry to say that, but it always happens." I strongly advise against booking this property.

The only best thing is the location

Nightmare during our stay, someone with access to the apartment keys entered while we were out on the second day and stole all our money. The host was shockingly unprofessional and offered no real help or support. She even admitted to the police that a third key was in the hands of the housekeeping staff — a serious security risk. What was even more disturbing was her response: “I’m sorry to say that, but it always happens.” This is unacceptable. For your own safety and peace of mind, I highly recommend avoiding this property.

A lot of construction noise, not enough hot water, and the bed was very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

There was major building work going on in the building adjacent to the bedroom ,which meant you could not stay in bed beyond 7am when all the noise started. Which was a shame as the apartment is lovely at a great location

Very nicely done up apartment right in the middle of the city centre. It's very easily walkable to most places of interest and or a bus/metro away, which are all a stones throw away. Is on a flat surface (not hilly terrain, so easily walkable), food options are plenty. On the 2nd floor, with a lift. The apartment itself is one of the best we have stayed in across countries.

We went in the off season, but still could hear the noise from all the activity and bustle below, although this wasn't too bad. I reckon in the summer this may get a bit too much - but again, for someone who likes to live where the action is, this is the place!

This met our needs quite well. The beds were comfortable and location was good. Multiple restaurants were nearby.

It took a little time for things to quiet down for the night but that is to be expected since it was in the heart of the city.

The location was as good as it gets, the elevator was the cherry on top! I loved having the half bath, and the balcony was amazing!!

The beds were not the most comfortable and there was very loud banging construction early every morning.
