Stunning 3 Bedroom Penthouse in Auckland CBD

Not as advertised – did not match expectations ⭐⭐☆☆☆. I recently stayed at this property in Auckland and wanted to share an honest review to help future guests. While the view of the Sky Tower is beautiful, the overall experience did not match what was advertised or the price paid. Although listed as a penthouse, the accommodation is actually a standard 3‑bedroom apartment with quite basic facilities. The space feels dated and would benefit from some upgrades to bring it in line with what guests expect at this price point. Storage in the master bedroom is very limited, with a very small clothes closet, which isn’t ideal for longer stays.

The apartment also gets very hot during the day, and the fans provided aren’t enough to cool the rooms—air conditioning in the bedrooms would make a significant difference. The outdoor area is appealing, but when it rains there is no pullout cover, and water leaks from the balcony above, making it unusable during wet weather. For the price, I was expecting a more modern and better‑equipped apartment—something closer to the standard of places I’ve stayed in Auckland, where rooms were larger and furnished with modern utilities and stocked with helpful household items.

I love the view and is very close by everything

Didn’t have aircon

The location is good. Generally the apartment was OK.

The dryer did not work. The lights on the balcony did not work properly. The drains in the bathrooms were a bit smelly.
