The wash-hand basin in bathroom was very small with an overhanging cupboard making it difficult to brush teeth, wash face or shave without getting water on your feet and floor. The kitchen cooking utensils and pans were few.

It would be better to have just a mirror above the small wash-hand basin in the bathroom rather than the mirrored cupboard which creates an aperture to get your head under to brush teeth, wash face and/or shave. More cooking utensils, a wok, new pan and metal steamer would aid cooking/self-catering.
