Beautiful 3 bedroom house, central Harrogate

Lovely quiet house in secure gated rows of modern townhouses behind older ones on the road. Adequately provided for kitchen etc with large fridge & freezer plus washing machine. Downstair WC as well as ensuite in master and a separate family bathroom. Using back coded gate 3 mins walk to Waitrose and 10min to station and central area. 15 to Convention Centre ( 20 back as upon hill!)

Minor issues easily fixed: The ensuite shower needs a shelf for shampoo /shower gel. Any one with even mild disability of back or knees can't bend to the floor of the shower to retrieve them. Also a towel hook just outside shower would help. En suite toilet seat was wrong size and loose. In family bathroom you can only fill the bath by running the shower into it! Master bedroom has no drawers. Only one key provided which was difficult when we went to bed with grandkids and their parents were out late. We couldn't lock the door and put key in the box! ( management company managed to leave second set for our 2nd night. ) We were initially given incorrect entry gate numbers as they had changed 2 days after we were sent details. Luckily a friendly neighbour helped us and management company called back quickly.

The house was comfortable, clean and well equipped (although missing 1 fork and a bowl from a set of 8 - minor inconvenience!). We loved the open plan layout downstairs and the fact there was an accessible toilet on the same level for visiting elderly relatives. Neighbours across the square were very friendly and welcoming.

Only one designated parking space.

The kitchen/diner with living room made for a very sociable experience for a group of 6 friends. The location was brilliant.

Very good property and good location.

Had problems with heating on first night due to new heating system recently installed. Problem solved on following morning, was given extra heating by engineer in evening of the first night. Ruined the evening because of waiting for help and unable to go out.

Clean property, good sized bedrooms. Excellent central location in town.

Close to amenities. Good access to town
