Liiiving in Porto - Ribeira Secret Apartment

The property was equipped with everything we needed for 4 nights. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was good. Lovely windows that open on to the busy street below. Staff kept in touch with us on WhatsApp to make sure we accessed the property ok, although we paid €15 extra for late night customer support if we had any problems as we had a late evening flight.

We heard noise from the upstairs apartment at night. The alleyway to the property sometimes had a bad smell.

Location was terrific

As with so many places where demand is high, there seems to be low commitment to maintenace. All things should operate properly. I unblocked the vacuum cleaner. It barely operated till i fixed it. I trod in a glass particle on the floor. The shower head needed replacing. Cooling fan had a blade missing, so would self destruct if set faster than 1. These things should not occur if there is basic maintenance.

The apartment has very good location with nice view from the windows. Wifi worked well.

The location is really good! The mattress and pillows were awesome! Very comfortable to sleep! Presence of the table I could use for work. Capsule coffee machine. Check-in and check-out contactless process.

Clogged shower drain. Absence of shelves in the shower and in the bathroom in general.

Location is Great. Instructions were good. Opportunities Bathroom needs a refresh overall condition not good the sink, the Shower does not drain properly at all, some of the facilities do not work or were in bad condition portable AC did not work, Base of TV is broken not like in picture, one of the Fan was not working and not assembled properly or broken and with dust. cleaning was average floor was clean but overall felt dusty furniture, fans and overhang of wall. Would also recommend putting a Bottle Opener and Wine Opener is Porto after all. The balcony would recommend not putting plastic flowers with empty containers this brings insects. Plus is Noise outside and if fans not working or enough beet to decide between noise or low circulation of air inside.

This property was adequate for my stay in Porto. Located in a great area and easy to walk to most attractions. The apartment itself could benefit from an overall deep cleaning and some updating of furniture. Ex. Mattress, couch. I had an issue with the shower drain. Although, the host was quick to reply, the repair wasn’t enough and issue continued throughout my stay. There was also a broken TV stand that caused you to have lean the TV against the wall and the AC didn’t work properly. All the issues were manageable, but did detract from my stay. For a last minute booking, it was ok, but not sure I’d stay there again.

Great location, walking distance to most sights, modern refurbishment with all the necessary amenities

Check-in was a lil later than expected. The place wasn't hotel clean but fairly clean (previous guest hair in shower)

The location is superb! The balcony with a very good view. The design is great! Great staff.

The crane on the sink in the toilet is not so comfortable. Small fridge, which didn’t work properly, but they offered us to change apartments and gave us better option, so the staff is great.

The location is perfect to walk around the city center. It is quite busy and noisy, but fine for a small stay.

The lights of the corridor enter the apartment and were annoying when other people arrived at night.
