Characterful house in Hertford - near London

Parking is difficult

Very well equipped and comfortable house. it is certainly characterful. Very convenient for Stansted Airport.

Interesting old building within easy walk of the train stations and town. Very clean.

The weather was very warm and having the windows open meant that traffic noise was very loud. The fan was useful but also very noisy and the blinds on the top floor clattered in the breeze. Earplugs were essential. You need to be fairly agile to cope with the steep, narrow stairs - it’s quite a trek to the bathroom from the bedrooms. Sockets are a bit random due to the age of the building - lack of bedside sockets was an irritation.

Full of character, as described. Cozy and comfortable, with friendly owners.
