Stunning villa Mila in Madroñal, heated pool

Excellent pool and outdoor facilities. Although a bit further out, this was necessary to have the size of villa. Taxis were very easy and cheap to get back, although the beach is only 20-30 mins walk

The pool cover unfortunately stopped working during our visit but this was towards the end so did not impact on our trip

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa! It’s in a great location — very convenient for shops and pharmacies, and only about a 20-minute walk to the restaurants and beach.

The only constructive feedback we’d give is regarding spare keys. With a larger group, it can be a little difficult to coordinate when people are heading out separately. Having a few additional keys available would make things much more flexible and convenient for guests.

We stayed at Stunning Villa Mila in Madroñal from 24–31 January. While the property itself is visually appealing, our experience was affected by several issues during the stay. Upon check-in, multiple advertised or expected amenities were missing or unclear. The table tennis (ping-pong) table shown in the listing photos was not available. The swimming pool was covered, and no instructions were provided on when or how it could be used. Five pillows were missing from the beds, and the Wi-Fi connection was not suitable for guest use, as it appeared to be connected only to a camera system and could not be accessed from a computer. We were also told by a technician that a specific pool connection was required, but this connection did not exist, causing further confusion. Communication was a major issue. We attempted to contact the responsible person multiple times, but no one answered or responded for a long period. Eventually, the above issues were addressed; however, the way they were handled was problematic. Despite having a later check-out arranged, staff arrived at the property at 1:00 PM, well before our agreed departure time. The situation escalated unnecessarily, and we were even threatened with police involvement, which was distressing and completely inappropriate given that we were complying with the agreed check-out arrangement.

Sun property who manage this villa do not inspect the property prior to your stay. We arrived at the villa to many issues - swimming pool dirty - patio locks broken - air conditioning broken - mattress mouldy - beds broken - dirty floors Basically Sun Properties do not ensure the villa is ready for your stay. Yes they did resolve issues but during the first 2 days of our stay we had about 12 visits from workmen fixing problems. If you want to arrive to a villa that is perfect after you have paid a lot of money do not use Sun Properties.

The Villa is nice overall, the rooms are spacious and there are a decent amount of amenities there. The Kitchen is well stocked with appliances to cook as you please, the pool was clean and so was the overall place too.

To start with the host or employee of the host turned up in a car, threw the keys at a family member of mine whilst i was still parking the car, when my family member attempted to ask a question, she said No English, got back in the car and drove off. Didn't ask for ID didn't confirm we were the people staying there and didnt come in to show us around the property and give us the important information. They say the pool is heated but it basically fluctuates from 26 degrees celcius to 29 degrees celsius. As the host didnt tell us where the temperature control was I fell down the stairs and hurt myself very badly trying to find stuff myself. The stairs were next to the pool leading to a pool cellar filled with Roaches. No warning signs about the stairs or barriers to stop children going near there and no warning was given as there was no checkin walkthrough done with the host or the management team. Every attempt to contact the host whilst we were there was met with the runaround of on i dont deal with it someone else does so i will pass the message to them and they will contact you. which happened liek 24/48 hours later. This compounded with the checkout procedure where we had again not been given any instructions and they would not pick up the phone to answer any questions. At the end of the trip being thoroughly frustrated with the lack of service I asked for some refund and was met with a plain no with no willingness to discuss the errors they had made. Overall whilst the villa itself was nice i wouldnt rebook just coz of the service

A beautiful open plan downstairs. I loved the layout of it. Very spacious. Outside, the pool was marvelous and it was lovely sititng out there during the day and night. Each room had comfy beds and had air conditioning that you can alter and sorts the room temperature during those warm nights. The kitchen was nice as well with all the essentials needed.

If I was to be picky, once you get out the pool its quite slippy. But I'm fairly certain its from people getting out of the pool with sun cream on and it going onto the ground. Just be careful getting out of the left hand side of the pool.
