Great location! Beautiful town of Altea, remarkable similarities with Santorini (Greece)

Smoke filled…contacted Kate…very responsive…acknowledged “crazy” smokers occupied property before us and understandably out of her control…per Kate cleaners left “with the smoke smell gone”…we left property for hours with windows open and ACunit turned on as Kate suggested…upon returning not much of smoke odor has dissipated…we are seasoned travelers…we made the most of our circumstances…

El alojamiento es muy bonito y está cuidado al detalle. Nos dejaron un obsequio de bienvenida. Había café, te, unas botellitas de agua. Es tal cual se ve en las fotografías. Respecto a la mascota, agradezco que se pueda llevar conmigo al perro. Nos dejaron un comedero, un premio y una camita. Aunque mi perro es más grande y no la usamos, además que llevábamos su cama lo agradezco un montón. Un detallazo!

No se puede llegar al alojamiento en coche, ya conocía esta información. Pero para gente con movilidad algo más reducida o mucho equipaje puede ser complicado el acceso. Al estar en el casco histórico esta en una de las encantadoras calles en cuesta.

Nice little apartment with good location.

Parking is an issue in Altea. The apartment does not have private parking and on one night we had problems finding a space. It was winter so I can imagine summer would be impossible. So best not to have a car if you stay here. Also you cannot drive to the apartment so you either have to drag bags up the steep walk to the apartment, we are in good shape but a person not in good shape would have problems. Or you can drag bags a little farther by going down the hill, but Google maps would not get us there from the parking we used ten minutes away. Not easy as indicated but doable. The listing should disclose this issue with location and parking, also it is possible to pull you car closer to the apartment from the bottom of the hill, but you would need to back out and the find parking.

Dunkle Wohnung, man braucht auch am Tag künstliches Licht. Preis etwas hoch für was es ist. 35 € für Hund für 2 Tage ohne irgendeine Dienstleistung ist zu viel.
