Entire Apartment , Centre Carrick-On-Shannon

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location for the town, Korahiza is a fantastic host and had everything very well organised. I will be booking again with her if I return.

The apartment was clean and well located. Check-in and out with the lockbox was simple.

We asked about room and bed types and were expressly told by the property manager that we would have a double room and another room with a double and single bed. On arrival that larger bedroom was locked and we had to use two bunk beds in a very small room. This was extremely uncomfortable and because of the guests’ age and physical mobility, not suitable and caused a lot of discomfort. We were attending a family wedding and had no time to look for alternative accommodation but it really affected our stay. We had expressly asked about the bed situation and looked at the room photographs and would absolutely not have booked if we had known this. The owner deliberately gave us misleading information. She was also quite unfriendly in messages and very suspicious of our group size without reason (which I suspect was the reason for the locked room). For this reason I can’t recommend for more than 1/2 people.
