"This was a basic place to land after a day in the city, nothing special."

The location was close to the family member I was visiting.

I-10 could be seen and heard from the home. It was quite noisy all of the time, as it sits on the Katy Freeway. Cleanliness is a BIG issue for me, I spent the first few hours cleaning the home so that it felt comfortable for me. The furniture felt very cheap and was quite unstable. The trashcans had lids with a foot pedal, but were in operable. The Welcome sign with WiFi password and basic instructions was broken and in an inconspicuous place. There were not enough towels and extra blankets. The bed was not at all comfortable, I left with a backache. The kitchen was basic, but lacking a few items like potholders and good ice trays. We made the most of the trip and visit, but I would not stay at this property again.
