Old town, free parking, Outlander experience

A nice apartment in a wonderful location in Edinburgh! It was just a short walk to many fantastic restaurants and the Royal Mile. Having easy, secure parking on-site in the garage was highly appreciated. The apartment had all the amenities you could possibly need, including a comfortable living room, a nice kitchen, a bedroom with a very comfortable bed, and a bathroom with a great shower. The Wi-Fi also worked perfectly throughout our stay. The host is an Outlander fan so it was interesting to see all the memorabilia she has around the apartment.

Iliyana was a great host. Gave all the relevant information prior to arriving and was on hand to help throughout our stay. The parking was actually free (many properties listed free parking, but charge an extra fee) so this was an amazing bonus. The property itself was cosy and comfortable. It had all facilities needed. It was near Waverley but in a quiet area, and couldn't hear any noise at night. Would stay here again in Edinburgh, it was a great place to stay

Great instructions to enter the property supported with photographs, sent before arrival. Welcoming and helpful host. Very central location, easy with car but 5 mins from the main station and very quiet.

Lovely clean & cosy flat. Central location with free parking. Comfy bed & sofas. Good heating & WiFi. Immaculate & well equipped kitchen. Nice bathroom with big shower & good water pressure. Huge information folder with plenty of instructions for appliances, etc. Excellent communication about directions & access to flat. Couldn’t fault this place!

Lovely wee apartment. Quiet but central, clean, tidy, warm and so much on offer. A home from home.

I booked this flat in Old Town as they allow an 11am check-in and a 3pm check-out. IIiyana, the most gracious host, let me check in even earlier and check-out later as well to accommodate my train travel times. She provided clear, detailed instructions on everything. The flat was pristine, looked newly remodeled with a charming Outlander theme. I'd forgotten my adapter plug, but there was one in the flat. Instant oatmeal and biscuits were thoughtfully provided. Loved the tea cups as l only like my tea in a bone china cup. The location was ideal, a short walk from Waverley Station and one street away from shopping on the High Street. It was a 15 minute walk to where l caught my Timberbush Tour to Loch Ness, Glencoe, & the Highlands. So l never had to use Uber. Iliyana responded to my texts immediately. I felt safe and at home here and will definitely book this place again, if l am lucky enough to return to Edinburgh!
