Just a footpath or step stone to the shepherd hut as grass was wet though .Plus a doormat wipe your feet on.And the hot water was not working plus the electrical heater at the socket .
GBThe hut was lovely and cosy with a decent bathroom area and adorable decor/kitchenware for use. The surrounding area was quiet and private enough without being too far away from everything else. Bonus points for the friendly cat!
When we arrived there was quite a fly problem and some parts of the cleaning had been neglected. However we messaged the host and almost immediately came to the hut to help rectify the problem and was super apologetic and would be raising it with the cleaners. The bed was also a little hard but otherwise a comfortable stay
GBGBIt looked lovely from outside, a good shower and toilet, bed was comfortable. Good WiFi and Belling stove.
No Meet & greet, somewhere to park with no mud, a front door that isn't broken, cut the grass so you don't get wet feet on the way to the hut, a door mat for said mud and water, a hut that is actually level, and no flies- there were dozens of them, non stop! Heating on before arrival (window left open, it was freezing and damp). The bed linen looked as though it had been screwed up and just left on the bed, really off-putting so much so I left my clothes on, oh the bin bag didn't fit either. Absolutely no effort made by the host, truly unwelcomeing experience.

The women who owned it was horrific and very rude, bang on 10am she came banging on the door saying if I donāt leave sheās going to call the police, she said I wasnāt aloud any gatherings, so two of my friends ended up staying and I just went home and it was my birthday. I came back on the Saturday evening to get my moneys worth, then the following morning she said if I donāt leave by 10am she is going to call the police. Her husband was lovely and pleasant to me but she was horrible to me. People skills are horrendous. She shouldnāt be aloud to run a business.
