Stylish Seaside Cornish Cottage,sleeps8 +BBQ

Spotless on arrival. Clear welcome pack. Very much appreciated welcome gift of scones and fizz. Bedroom layout work brilliantly for our family. Plenty of crockery/cutlery/glasses/utensils in the kitchen. Comfy beds.

Not so much a didn't like but a warning I guess..... you can only squeeze a small car in the parking in front of the garage. (Although plenty of room in the garage for one large car / 2 very small cars). We found parking elsewhere for one of our cars.

Proximity to town was easy walking distance. Decor was sympathetic to age of house (a bit rough round the edges though) Was really warm and cosy. Heating in house and fire in living room worked well. Communication from owner was very good. Kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. Lovely welcome pack of jam cream scones and fizz!

The house says it has parking for 2 cars. It has a garage and a space in front of it which is parallel to the road. We had a normal size car which we put in the garage but the larger SUV then had to fit on the space in front. It had to go side ways and was so difficult to manoeuvre as the house is on a steep single track hill. The description needs to be clearer because lesser capable drivers would not have been able to turn their cars round let alone park it. I imagine you can only fit two small cars in garage and it was even difficult to get one in garage without revving your engine and reversing was tricky. The double beds were uncomfortable and creaky but the singles were better. So much so I had to leave my husband and sleep in one 🤣 Also to mention again the house is on a steep hill so it's quite a climb and so the short walk back from town was made much harder. I feel it should say that in description. Pub at bottom of road has also closed down so this could be an issue for some.

Lovely home with a great walk into Looe in minutes! Instructions from hosts amazing and house was fantastic. Parking for 2 cars and great views. Really enjoyed our stay! Thanks!
