The Peppermill Boutique Hotel

Location was perfect . Very central. Food was superb.

Could have paid a little more attention to small decor details and edges

The staff were amazing a real credit to the business. We had a problem with another room being very noisy overnight. Tyler the duty manager and the manager were kind and considerate and sorted it out. We will stay again on our next trip

Breakfast was fine. Evening meal ok

Room was cramped. Poor arrangements on Wifi. Pop up that needed to be completed for access - vanished from my screen before I could use it. so no Wifi in the hotel Better just to have a password.

Our allocated room already had guests, we had to wait for a room to be reallocated to us - not ideal, very embarrassing entering a room and seeing guest luggage and belongings, given a complimentary drink in the bar while we waited - the room eventually allocated was lovely, but no view out of the window - the view was the communal area within the hotel. First morning - breakfast fab Second morning - no tables cleared and made available, we had to wait for one to be cleared. No yoghurts Told no tomatoes, until my husband's full English arrived with grilled tomatoes - once I'd highlighted, i did get a grilled tomatoe to keep my poached egg company. We've stayed a few times, never had an issue. Shame, we might have to rethink our next visit

Old historical building tastefully refurbished,friendly staff, and a room with a bath! Staff helpful in storing our bikes at the end of a cycling day in the hotel.

Would have liked more non cooked breakfast options: fresh fruit , a fresh fruit salad, different types of bread.An option to buy a continental breakfast.
