"Wish it was my holiday home"

Everything was perfect, our host was more then accommodating she went above and beyond her role which was greatly appreciated. The fact we was able to bring our dog was fantastic. Beautiful place pictures do not do it justice.

"Excellent base to explore Newcastle (Co. Down) and The Mournes."

Excellent location for accessing facilities in Newcastle and The Mournes. Great, we could just park the car and walk. Stairs or lift available...sometimes the lift was a must! Very secure building, keycodes throughout, reliable and secure. Weather was beautiful throughout our stay.

Unfortunately there was some utility digging-up of the pavement outside the apartment block, on our second night. Went on quite some time and beyond 11pm.....very noisy. (Next morning, no evidence they'd even been there! ) Some kind of noxious (burning?) smell in the stairwell during the days. Difficult to identify but possibly relating to café on the ground floor. No big deal, but impossible to ignore.
