Very good location, quiet, close to everything. Nicely decorated, pleasant host.

Çok merkezi bir noktada, güzel döşenmiş, temiz ferah bir oda. Minik balkonumda zaman geçirmek hoştu. Dar sokaklı, karakteristik evlerin yer aldığı bir bölge. Bu uyarımın otel ile bir ilgisi yok ancak diğer ziyaretçiler için önemli bir bilgilendirme: kesinlikle adada boş bulduğunuz herhangi bir park alanına otomobilnizi park etmeyin! Bizim aracımız 10 dakika içinde çekildi. Aracımızı geri almak için 100 euronun üzerinde harcama yaptık. Eğer adada yaşamıyorsanız sadece Talete otoparkını kullanabilirsiniz!

Ideale locatie om Ortigia te verkennen, op slechts enkele minuten van de stadskern en toch rustig genoeg voor een goede nachtrust.

Ottimo soggiorno a pochi passi dal centro di Ortigia. Struttura pulita, accogliente e confortevole.

Posizione centrale, tutto raggiungibile a piedi e host fantastico e super disponibile, lo consiglio senza ombra di dubbio

Very cumbersome and confusing check in process. There is no sign of this B&B neither on the exterior door, nor on the door bell, nor on the floor. To open the exterior door you need to send SMS to the host for her to open it for you remotely. Then her instructions say “ when you enter the first floor has two key boxes on the right”. Well, it turns out that when you enter, you are not on the first floor but a ground floor ( again, the host assumes you know this, as there are no signs anywhere to figure out on which floor you are). The first floor is up a very steep flight of stairs. There is a short timer on the staircase light so if you climb the stairs slowly ( as we did), the light goes off while you are in the middle of the stairs. We were checking in in the evening and it was black dark inside. I almost fell on my face. Then , once you reach the first floor, again, no signs or numbers anywhere. The sign on the key box does not corresponde to the name of the B&B that was listed on Booking. You have to get your phone out and find very lengthy description of the check in process to figure out where to go next. All of it while the staircase lights keep going off. At 8 pm and after the whole day of hiking and driving this check in turned into a nightmare. Once inside, there was no heat ( the apartment was freezing cold) and no cold water. I messaged the owner after trying for half an hour to figure out what was going on. She had casually replied that I need to find an electrical panel , turn the switches on and then wait for half an hour to get hot water ( and also wait for some time for the heater to start working). By then it was past 9 pm, we were tired and cold. I turned on the faucet to get water into the kettle and it was yellow. It is our third week traveling throughout Sicily and it was the first B&B where the host would not provide at least a small bottle of water. No bottled water. The small grocery nearby closed at 8:30.

Bed was comfortable. Nice and clean apartment.

Black mould on the wall by the entrance. The air conditioner was leaking water and lots of mould had begun to grow up the wall. This needs to be removed immediately
