Joyously Raw Villas - Free Room Upgrade Subject to Availability

I've been in Bali for a month and this is the best hotel in my entire vacation. The score is 100 out of 10. We noticed the hotel by accident. We watched the sorting by high scores. There were only 2 reviews at the time of booking. This, of course, caused great doubts. We found the hotel on Instagram, and the story of the creation of this place was amazing. And we decided to book. After living for 10 days, we felt Joyously a place where we want to return. A huge advantage is the small number of rooms. There are 3 villas in total. There is a pleasant, calm atmosphere on the territory. The staff and the owner of the hotel are incredibly kind and helpful people. The villa itself turned out to be much better in person than in the photo. Stylish and cozy. Good air conditioning and a plus fan, fast wi-fi, a very comfortable bed and it's cool that it closes with curtains. Mosquitoes are not scary. A clean bath, without mold odors. Good hot water pressure (from experience we realized that this is not the case everywhere). Nice kitchen area. Very tasty breakfasts. A clean and good-sized swimming pool, a comfortable relaxation area. Read a book or just relax. And by the way, the hotel has a great location. It is quiet (there is no noise of bikes and roosters in the morning) and the best restaurants of Ubud are within walking distance. It takes 3 minutes by motorbike to get to the center. In general, the place is ideal for a holiday in Ubud. We advise you one hundred percent, you will be left with the best impressions of your vacation.

Awesome spot to stay! Book again if I’ll came back :) Close to Center and silent arround. The stuff was super friendly and the villa, garden and of course the food😍 spezial!

Very comfortable bed. Lovely pool. Great people. Near to Campuhan Ridge and slightly away from the Ubud centre. I was very happy with everything here.

The beautiful little villa with its own garden seemingly on top of the world - the accommodation, like many in and around ubud is built into the hillside so accessed up many steps. I was quite surprised to arrive in the restaurant and watch my bags disappear up a spiral bamboo staircase to reach the next floor . From there it is further up into gardens and steps and more gardens , a pool and rooftops !! Very comfortable bed. Slightly out of town so quite quiet but walking distance to the centre of Ubud. The delicious food and drinks on offer .

The doors on the 2 sides did not meet so it was hard to close them at all - luckily I never felt there was a security issue due to location . The room was very dark in the evening and the light shades almost completely absorb any light so I had to read using my phone torch !!

Amazing accommodation in the middle of Ubud. You are still in the town, but in quiet area with beautiful view and garden everywhere around you. Great yoga house from bamboo, rest area or place for work as well. You will get healthy juice shot for welcome drink and in bathroom you can find organic soap, wooden toothbrush and non toxic toothpaste. Its really Bali energy there and very helpful staff🙏🏻Highly recommended

Loved this little place of tranquility. Felt safe here as a woman solo traveler. I was in the standard room. It has a kitchen out side the room if you’re staying longer and want to cook, just ask for pots and pans they were happy to provide. A beautiful large Shala above the room to use (other guest can also use, but found myself using it alone every morning to stretch and meditate.) The same with the swimming pool. Bed was very comfortable and was nice to come back to a cool air conditioned room. Food at the restaurant was delicious too. Only slightly out of town center (10mins by bike) is a great location if you have a bike, otherwise best to use Grab or Gojek services. Loved my stay here and have already booked again.

Loved the outdoor bathroom, minor comment…I was a-little conscious that the Neighbours on the hill far behind the property could see me shower through the reflection of the large mirror opposite the shower. (Not sure if they actually could or not) and the bathroom gate was hard to lock. 🙏 I met the other 2 people staying in the other villas. Garden is beautifully kept. It is a quiet space, so if you are looking for more of a vibrant scene, then closer in town would suit you better.

Me and my sister originally only booked one night at Joyously Raw Villas but as soon as we arrived we fell in love with this cute Hotel and extended our stay to 3 days. We got a free upgrade to one of the Villas which was amazing but also the standard room „House of Prayer“ was really nice. The Hotel is really central but as soon as you step through the door you forget about the loud streets. The pool area feels like a oasis and is really nice to cool down after a hot day in Ubud. They also run a Café and you can sit in their Garden and enjoy breakfast. I really loved the place but what makes it so special is the amazing staff working there. Ruth and Adi are absolutely lovely. They had a groupchat with us for the duration of our stay and always answered within a few minutes if we had any questions or problems.

As there were still small constructions going on we didn’t had warm water in our first night. But the Team of Joyously Raw fix it urgently. They brought us one of their amazing homemade juices to our room and even offered us a free breakfast as compensation. And I have to say the breakfast was one of the best ones I had!

This place felt like a piece of paradise and shelter from the busy ubud. Very clean, good facilities, as advertised, and amazingly kind staff. Would definitely stay there again, we were sad to leave :)
